herringbone cuff guide pattern - tutorial example 1
This is an example of using this herringbone guide pattern for a pony bead herringbone cuff with 20 rows. This is the one that goes along with the one made in my herringbone cuff tutorial. Just like multistitch, you add the first 2 rows as a single string of 40 beads to begin with before adding row 3+, so both row 1 & 2 are on the bottom row on the guide pattern (which makes this look twice as long as it will end up being). Rows 3 & onward are spaced out to line up with the row 2 beads, & are grouped in pairs just as you would add them when making a herringbone cuff (2 beads at a time). I find the numbers helpful to keep track of what row is what, esp for telling which beads are for the 1st row & which are for the 2nd.
