manfred the cicada

story of manfred. I found manfred in front of a house that me and my family were going to so we could help remove everything. it was my first time seeing a cicada in real life!! I put my hand down and he happily let me pick him up :) I named him manfred and he was my best friend!!! but then. my cousin. he walked over to me and started throwing a mini basketball at me. I told him its fine as long as he DOESNT HIT MANFRED. he said ok... guess what???? HE IMMEDIETLY HIT MANFRED WITH THE BASKETBALL. manfred flew away... BUT! recently I reunited with manfred! I found him in my backyard and took him inside. but then later, manfred had to go home, so I went outside and he flew away. the end!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
