Workspace
This is the interactive canvas, where your pattern comes to life.
Editor Toolbar
Your primary workspace toolkit, holding all your drawing tools.
Bead Tool
The standard tool for placing beads. Left click to place a bead, right click to erase. Click and drag to "paint".
Shortcut: B
The standard tool for placing beads. Tap to place a bead, Long Press to erase. Touch and drag to "paint".
Fill Tool
Left click to fill a color group with the current color. Right click to "Replace".
Shortcut: F
Tap to fill a color group with the current color. Long Press to "Replace".
Erase Tool
Remove placed beads. Left click to remove a single bead, or click and drag to erase continuously. Right click to delete a whole connected group.
Shortcut: E
Remove placed beads. Tap to remove a single bead, or touch and drag to erase continuously. Long Press to delete a whole connected group.
Replace Tool
Swaps bead colors. Left click to replace all beads of one color with your active color. Right click to delete all matching colored beads.
Shortcut: R
Swaps bead colors. Tap to replace all beads of one color with your active color. Long Press to delete all matching colored beads.
Text Tool
Click on any placed bead to overlay a custom digit or text character on top.
Shortcut: T
Click on any placed bead to overlay a custom digit or text character on top.
Pan Tool
Pan the canvas by clicking and dragging. Toggle this mode at any time by holding the Spacebar while drawing.
Shortcut: Hold SPACEBAR
Pan the canvas by touching and dragging.
Pick Tool (Eyedropper)
Sample color values from your canvas. Click on any placed bead to load its color and style as active.
Shortcut: Hold ALT
Sample color values from your canvas. Tap on any placed bead to load its color and style as active.
Color Bar
Contains your active color, plus a list of Recently Chosen Colors and Pattern Colors, toggled by their respective tabs. Click the current color block to open the Color Palette Drawer.

Color Palette Drawer
Select colors from specific bead brands or create custom color palettes.
Shortcut: C

Utility Sidebar
Contains helpful functions to assist in your pattern making.
Reference Photo
Load background images underneath your workspace to easily trace shapes and outlines.
Image to Pattern Converter
Instantly convert images into patterns. Tweak colors, palettes, and algorithms to generate precise patterns automatically.
3D Interactive Render
Preview your patterns inside a realistic 3D simulator. Patterns are rendered using their most recently saved state.
View Layer Controls
Toggle display layers ON/OFF: Guide lines, placed Beads (hold 1), or background Reference image (hold 2).

Symmetry Mirroring
Enable vertical and/or horizontal mirroring to paint symmetrical patterns in real-time. Drag guidelines directly on the canvas to reposition your mirror axis.

Selection Tools
Isolate and capture areas of your pattern using selection tools. Select from Lasso (L), Square Marquee (M), Circle Marquee (N), or Wand Select (W).
Hold SHIFT to expand a selection, or SHIFT+CTRL to subtract.
Wand Tolerance
Adjust color matching sensitivity for the Wand tool. 0 matches exact colors only, while higher values select broad spectrums of similar color tones.
Selection Actions
Apply changes exclusively to selected areas. Move (V), Clear (DELETE), Flip horizontally/vertically, Invert Selection (CTRL+I), or Deselect (ESC or CTRL+D).
History Manager
Undo or redo your actions anytime.
Undo: CTRL+Z
Redo: CTRL+Y
Save
Commit your project updates. Overwrite the current pattern (CTRL+S) or create a copy via "Save As" (CTRL+SHIFT+S).

Fullscreen Mode
Go fullscreen for distraction-free editing.
Current Workspace
Displays dimensions and current preset shape/size (if applicable) of your workspace.
Pattern Title
The working title of your current project.
Zoom Controls
Zoom in to get into the finer pattern details or out to see the bigger picture. Quickly zoom in and out using the mouse scroll wheel.

Workspace Background
Set the color of the workspace to help visualize your pattern against different backgrounds.
