Apple walked up to the doors of highschool, his hands were shaking. He opened the door and was greeted by his only friends. Millie, Simon, Abigail and Jensen. Jensen, like usual, was hanging around Abi (aka Abigail) everyone knew he had a crush on her, he was also munching away on the snack bar he got from the vending machines. Millie was adjusting the paper bag on her head, she had been wearing that thing since THE FIRE. The only reason she wore it was because of her scar. Then there was Simon. He sat there scribbling question marks on his new sketchbook, he didn't talk much but that was the least of Apple's concerns. He had an art assignment today. He was never good at art; he really didn't put too much effort in it either. Miss Cabnit looked at his art assignment, her closed eyes looked like they wanted to stare daggers into Apple's soul. Her smile into a straight line. She looked at Flicker from across the room. Flicker looked from under her lampshade. "Joyous" she muttered under her breath. Flicker wasn't your ordinary student, she wore an SC badge, meaning she was part of the student council. She stood up, and as soon as her boot hit the floor, Apple looked up and scrambled away as fast as his legs could carry him. Flicker smirked and ran as well, "WELL THIS IS FUN, ISN'T IT APPLE?!" she giggled. Apple tripped, his eyes widened, his breathing unsteady. character designs coming out soon (edit: not full chapter)
