(For this exact design) Ur gonna need: 60 purple beads 10 Black beads 10 Grey beads 10 Letter Beads (In the pic it low-key looks like day but it's 11:13 pm)
Step 1
Start by putting a purple, black, and purple bead onto a string.
Step 2
String on 1 more purple bead and put the string back through the black bead.
Step 3
String it back through the other purple.
Step 4
String on ur grey bead.
Step 5
There it is started.
Step 6
Once you get here. (Next step)
Step 7
Bring the string through the purple bead.
Step 8
Put on another black bead.
Step 9
Another purple.
Step 10
And another purple.
Step 11
Put on the grey.
Step 12
Then a purple
Step 13
Then the other purple.
Step 14
Then add the "M" letter bead.
Step 15
Just keep repeating those last few steps. And wait to tie it off at step 16.

So I went with 24 instead of 30 long, bc it turned out longer than expected. (Extras: 3 Black, 3 Grey, 11 Purple)
Step 17
Start knitting them together. Start with one string, stopping once thought the grey bead.
Step 18
Loop the other string just through one purple not the center grey.
Step 19
Tie it off. I usually do double knots, maybe even triple. But in the picture I only showed one.
Step 20
Cvt off the excess string.
