Imo, odd is kinda like ladder stitch in some ways. Peyote is one of the most commonly used stitches, so u should learn odd and even.
Step 1
Sooo the materials you'll need are, depending on the size of the cuff, Abt 80 beads (honestly that's probably a little too much) 3 ft of string, (not sure if that's rlly 3 ft, but oh well) scissors, and a needle. the needle isn't necessary, but it makes things a lot easier for me.
Step 2
its kinda hard to tell but fold up the string. mine has a needle one end cuz i lost my other one. try to line them up so the ends stay even throughout ur project.
Step 3
put 2 beads on. it doesn't matter which side.
Step 4
now put a bead on both strings
Step 5
put one bead on each string. u can repeat this, but Imma stop here at 3 rows
Step 6
it should look like this so far if done correctly

now tie 2 to 3 times
Step 8
WATCH CLOSELY. pull ur string through the nearest bead. like this. ik its hard to tell what um doing, but try to bear with me
Step 9
ur string should be sticking out of this bead now
Step 10
basically js add one bead and pull or string thru the next bead
Step 11

put one bead on and pu;; the string through the nearest bead. itll be the one kinda above it

puull the other string through the bead, in the opposite direction
