Hi!!! This is how to make a basic kandi star!!!
Step 1
Put 10 beads of any colour on a piece of string about 60 centimetres long (12 inches)
Step 2
Tie it into a circle
Step 3
Cut the small end of the string off
Step 4
Add three beads of any colour on to your string.
Step 5
Make sure your string is facing the right way. Like this…
Step 6
Not like this.So it’s not going over the bead. It should feel like the natural direction
Step 7
Once you have your direction, skip one bead and thread it through the next bead. It should look something like a point.
Step 8
Keep going all the way around.
Step 9
Get the last 3 beads and thread it through this bead
Step 10
This should form your last point
Step 11
To tie it off, you will thread it through the gap under the point
Step 12
You will now thread the string that is coming out of the point into the big loop of string and pull. That should create your first knot. Repeat this until you have about 5 ties if you are using plastic elastic string. Do 2 or 3 ties for cloth elastic string
Step 13
Cut off the remaining string and now your done!!!
