I'm really sorry for the bad quality pictures I am using my school computer just ask me if you have any questions on this
Step 1
first make an x-base that is 33 beads wide ( or any factor of 3) and have 3 x's on each side ( I don't quite know how to explain that so I will try and show it in the pic) I recommend using red and white for the main colors but you can make it any colors you want . also I would recommend not cutting the little string from your single because it makes it easier to tie this off.
Step 2
next string the beads up following the x pattern till you reach the top and its coming out of a base color bead for my case it is red.
Step 3
then add five beads continuing the color pattern you chose I chose red and white so my pattern is red red white red red. I would recommend the base color for your main colors for the pattern. you then string it through the next base bead again. make sure you pull tightly and then it should look something like the picture.
Step 4
continue the process of adding five beads and putting in the next "red bead" do this until you go all the way around it. here is what it looks like from the top. remember to pull tightly.
Step 5
string down following the x base like you did to get up until you get to the middle of an x right below the spikes you just made. still pull tightly.
Step 6
add 2 beads on your string and string it through the point of the spikes you just made like the picture shows. the put another 2 beads on your string and string it through the middle of an x just like when you started this row it also should match the spacing of the spikes above. continue this process till you get all the way around.
Step 7
it should look like this when you are done. then string the string following the x patter till you get down to the very bottom and its coming out your base color not you accent color ( this is the same spot and the first row of spikes we made)
Step 8
do the exact same thing we just did with the spikes but on the bottomed row this time it should look like this when you're done. you can then tie it off with the leftover little string from making the single to start your x base but still don't cut it off until later.
Step 9
next make 2 singles that fit around your rotator cuff they can say whatever you want but mine says " mushroom" and " shroom mush" . I added a little mushroom charm but if you don't have one that is perfectly fine.
this is the end unless you want to add more to make it more interesting ( like the opening pic) than go to part 2 but if you don't want that youre done and you can finally cut that little string and good job I bet it looks great.
