heyya!! if you clicked into this tutorial, it probably means that you're interested in making a rotator cuff like the one above. guess what - you're in luck! this tut goes in depth in every step, has picture examples, and is perfect for beginners or rly just anyone that wants to try making this super - easy cuff! ^_^ If you already know how to make an X - base cuff, then you can skip to step 8 ... otherwise let's get started! :D

Step 1

Materials you will need: - a LOOOTTTT of string - clear nail polish (optional) - bedz <3 - scissors

Step 2

- cut the string, I don't rly know how much, but you can always add or remove string later. ^-^

Step 3

- string on 30 beads, in a 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 2 pattern. - it doesn't have to be 30 beads excactly - tie, cut and apply nail polish to the knot! :D

Step 4

Add the bottom of the "x": - cut off the small end of the string and push the bigger end into one of the connector beads (the dark yellow one in this case) - string on three beads - string your string into the next connector bead.

Step 5

repeat all around!

Step 6

Add the top of the x: - string your string up through the first "bottom of the x" you made, then take it out of the second bead. (the center one) - slide on three beads. - push the end of the string into the next flower bead. just like the pattern you did on the first layer, except this time the flowers are the "connector beads" - Repeat all around!

Step 7

Finish the X-base: - my picture got deleted for this one, so you have to just read it :'( - now, you're going to copy the exact same thing you did on the single layer, except this time the center/second beads of the layer you just did will be the connector beads. y'know? okay i sound so confusing. - string your string through one of the center beads of the layer you just did. - add two of the light yellow/cream beads (it doesn't have to be that color, just because I used it on the cuff) - string it through the next "center/second" bead that you made on the previous layer - repeat all around! :D

Step 8

pull your bead into a connector bead

Step 9

MAKE THE SPIKES: - string five beads onto your string.

Step 10

MAKE THE SPIKES (pt.2): - string your string into the next connector bead :0 - pull TIGHT! this is crucial so the spikes are not floppy and they act as a border!

Step 11

this is how it should look. if it doesn't, just pull the third bead to make it pointy again.

Step 12

Tie and polish: - repeat all around - string the string into the next connector bead - tie and apply nail polish on the knot :0 - DON'T CUT because we are still using that string!

Step 13

Bring the string to the top: - EEK this is the hardest part to explain - so basically bring the string up to the other end - string it through the other beads above it (on other layers, like the flower beads etc.) - end on a dark yellow connector bead

Step 14

Make More Spikes: - basically the same thing you did to make the spikes before! :D - repeat all around

Step 15

Finish the base: - end on a connector bead - tie, cut, and apply nail polish to the knot - YuaYauYAOuyayAy you finished the hard part! go take a break and eat something

Step 16

Make the single: - cut a string that's big enough to fit around the base cuff - add beads in whatever pattern you want

Step 17

Tie the single: - put it around the main cuff, making sure that all of it is inside the borders/spikes and none of it is hanging outside - tie, cut, nail polish, the whole deal

Step 18

YAY!! you finished!! try it on!!
