X base is the start of many different projects. Because this is a bracelet, the number of materials may vary depending on the size of your wrist. This one is tiny, but there are many that can range from two, all the way to more than 10 rows! This doesn't make it fit any worse, just makes it a bit longer. However, if you're making larger projects, 3 rows are necessary.

Step 1

About 24 inches of string, scissors, and 77 pony beads are the reccomended supplies. The amount of beads for the first row may vary. For my wrist size, I need 27 beads. Make sure that your number is divisible by 3. The amount of string may vary as well, depending on your wrist size.

Step 2

Put your desired amount of beads on the string. I would recommend an AAB pattern. Try to make it just a tad bit bigger than a normal single. This will help get it on.

Step 3

Tie it off tightly 2-3 times. It should form a single.

Step 4

You now need your single from earlier, and around 20 beads. Disclaimer: THE AMOUNT MAY VARY DEPENDING ON WRIST SIZE.

Step 5

Put 3 beads on, SKIP 2 BEADS, then pull the string through the next bead. It won't exactly form a point yet. Repeat.

Step 6

It should look like this.

Step 7

After completing this, you now have 1 row down. Give yourself a pat on the back!

Step 8

I will only be doing 1 row, so yours may look aa little different. For larger projects, make one with at least 2 rows.

Step 9

Pull the string up diagonally through the next two beads. Make sure they are diagonal. Pull tightly.

Step 10

If you're making another row, add three beads. If you're finishing, like me, add 2. Pull through the next 'point'.

Step 11

Pull tight, but DON'T snap the string. It should lay flat if you're finishing. If you're adding another row, it should form a sharper point.

Step 12

Soon enough, your cuff should begin to stand up, no matter what step you're on.

Step 13

And.... TADAAA you're done. Now you have an X Base. If it's a bit wonky, that's okay. Remember to practice a lot and maybe watch a few tutorials. baaiiii hope thisss helped and if it didn't here;s some vids that might work for u https://www.youtube.com/shorts/N74XspSEpkc https://www.youtube.com/shorts/AEossxHutlk
