Howdy π½ πΉ In this tutorial, there are gonna be detailed step-by-step guidelines to follow! I have a pattern on my page for the rainbow glove, but I am going to be making a polysexual flag pattern instead, as I am bead broke π¦ Uhh so you need LOTS of bedz and β¨ π πΌπ½π»π²π·π° π β¨ . Also, just a heads up, I work backwards, so the arm warmer starts at the fingers π€― π
Step 1
MATERIALS π½ π§΅: - LOTS OF β¨ π πΌπ½π»π²π·π° π β¨ (You can always tie more on, I prefer to work with shorter string because I hate working with long string, just make sure to tie a strong knot. See step if you need help tying on more string) -Bucket of beads -Patience (Try your hardest) -Tissues (In case you cry because you had already started half of your tutorial but something crashed the site and you had to redo the entire arm warmer π π₯)
Step 2
STARTING THE SINGLE π€© π€―: Choose your color scheme I-itβs just a single- idk put some beads on a string ig π₯ Find an old single that has bedz that go all around your wrist without any gaps, for me 28 bedz. Thread the bedz onto your β¨ π πΌπ½π»π²π·π° π β¨
Step 3
TYING THE SINGLE π₯Ή π : Once you have your select amount of bedz, tie the β¨ π πΌπ½π»π²π·π° π β¨ . Make sure to tie it in a position where there is a short piece of β¨ π πΌπ½π»π²π·π° π β¨ and a long piece of β¨ π πΌπ½π»π²π·π° π β¨ . Cut the short piece off.
Step 4
It should look like this (colors and size may vary)
Step 5
STARTING THE X-BASE πΉπ: So uh I just learned an x-base from looking at a photo bc Iβm just that good π (not rlly help-) Add on 3 bedz to the long piece of β¨ π πΌπ½π»π²π·π° π β¨ . Skip 2 bedz and thread the β¨ π πΌπ½π»π²π·π° π β¨ into the third bead. β οΈ You may have to thread some string into more beads to get to the position in the photo β οΈ
Step 6
Finishing the first layer of the x-base
Step 7
Finished
Step 8
Repeat steps 5-7 β¨ π
Step 9
Check for fit after completing a few layers
Step 10
Again, check the fit
Step 11
Add a row of clear bedz in place of the other colors
Step 12
[Completed clear row]
Step 13
Cry because you are going bead broke
Step 14
Continue adding rows of xβs
Step 15
Grab some white beads
Step 16
Starting the rim: Thread your π β¨ πΌπ½π»π²π·π° β¨ π and a bed through the gaps in the top half
Step 17
[As shown]
Step 18
MAKING THE RIM πΉ π : Add on 3 bedz that match your color scheme onto the π β¨ πΌπ½π»π²π·π° β¨ π Then pull the π β¨ πΌπ½π»π²π·π° β¨ π through the white bed that is poking out
Step 19
[Flip over and do other side the same way]
Step 20
Donβt tie/cut the π β¨ πΌπ½π»π²π·π° β¨ π
Step 21
Add a SEPARATE piece of π β¨ πΌπ½π»π²π·π° β¨ π to the single on the bottom of the arm warmer, Thread the π β¨ πΌπ½π»π²π·π° β¨ π however youβd like, it just needs to reach the rim and be next to the other π β¨ πΌπ½π»π²π·π° β¨ π YOU WILL NEED TO THREAD TWO PIECES OF π β¨ πΌπ½π»π²π·π° β¨ π , SO THERE SHOULD BE THREE AT THE RIM
Step 22
Pull the π β¨ πΌπ½π»π²π·π° β¨ π through
Step 23
TYING THE RIM 𧡠π β€οΈ Alternate between the 3 pieces of π β¨ πΌπ½π»π²π·π° β¨ π and tie normally,
Step 24
[Finished]
Step 25
Cut ze π β¨ πΌπ½π»π²π·π° β¨ π
Step 26
β οΈ OPTIONAL β οΈ Put resin, glue, or nail polish over your knot to ensure it wonβt pop.
Step 27
[Knot]
Step 28
THE MOST FUN PART!!!!! You get to clean up! The best part? It takes 30 minutes off of your life expectancy! π₯³
πΉ Thank you so much for viewing my first tutorial! Sorry if this wasnβt clear enough, I honestly have no clue how to explain anything-
