I'm gonna show you how to make this lovely frog. It includes slightly more advanced techniques with the 3d belly and eyes, and the bend in the limbs. I found the base frog pattern online several places so I don't know who to give credit to but I added the 3d elements. You can find my patteren on it here: https://kandipad.com/pattern/frog-7810652
Step 1
What you need: String (I used black ribbon) 56 green beads (body) 28 light green beads (belly and hands) 14 blue beads (spots) 2 black beads (eyes) Optional: Needles (easier stringing)
Step 2
Let's get right into it. Put 3 green beads on the string and move it to the middle of the string.
Step 3
Put 4 green beads on one end of the string. String the other end of the string through the opposite direction of the beads. Pull tight.
Step 4
Put a black bead on each end of the string. Now pull the string through the interior side of the first bead of the second row. Do the same on the other side. Pull tight.
Step 5
Put 2 green beads, 1 blue bead, and 2 green beads on one end of the string. Put the other string through the other end of the beads. Pull tight.
Step 6
Put 1 green, 1 blue, 2 green, 1 blue, and 1 green bead on one end of the string. Put the other string through the other end of the beads. Pull tight.
Step 7
On each string, put 4 green beads and 3 light green beads.
Step 8
On each string, go back through the top 2 green beads. Now add a blue bead to the strings.
Step 9
Go through the last 2 green beads and pull tight.

Step 13
Put 3 green, 1 blue, 4 green, 1 blue, 1 green, and 3 light green beads on each string.
Step 14
Pull the string back through the last green and blue beads on the end. Do the same on the other side.
Step 15
Pull the string through the outside end of the first green bead of the leg. Do the same on the other side.
Step 16
Put 1 blue, 2 green, and 1 blue bead on one end of the string. Pull the other string through the other end. Pull tight.
Step 17
Flip the frog. String back through to the 5th bead of the row above.
Step 18
Put 3 light green beads on the end of one string. Go through the other end of the beads with the other strings. Pull tight.
Step 19
Put 4 light green beads on one string. Pull through the other end with the other string. Pull tight.

Step 21
Put 4 light green beads on one string. Pull through the other end with the other string. Pull tight.
Step 22
Pull one end of the string through the 2nd to 6th bead of the 4th row of the frog. Do the same with the other string through the 5th to 1st bead. Pull tight.
Step 23
With the left string go through 2 beads of the row above. With the other string go through 3 beads of the row above.
Step 24
Pull an overhand knot of the two strings. Pull tight. Pull another overhand knot and pull tight again. Repeat until you are happy with the tie off. Make sure the knot doesn't get bigger than the inside of a bead. Cut the ends short and pull the knot under the beads.
