How to master the odd peyote stitch

DISCLAIMER: not doing the entire peyote stitch, it’s basically what you should do when you hit the point of no bead to go through. This pattern I am using is 15 - row peyote stitch and I am using this for a bag and not a cuff! Pattern I am using ⤷ https://kandipad.com/pattern/dreamcore-bag-pt-2-15851222

Step 1

When you are doing an odd peyote stitch, sometimes every ≈2 rows there will be a time where there’s no bead to go through! (Shown below) This ONLY occurs in odd peyote and never even peyote.

Step 2

Add your next bead!

Step 3

Go down through the bead next to yours.

Step 4

Now it looks like this!

Step 5

Now go under one row to the bead shown above

Step 6

Go to the bead next to that one

Step 7

String through the one above, it will be next to the bead you just placed!

Step 8

No go to the next bead that you strung in!

Step 9

Continue your peyote stitch!

Step 10

The string might double but that alright! It happens a lot so don’t be surprised if you notice it!
