Hello and welcome to my kandi tutorial!! This is my first ever tutorial so if the steps are confusing then let me know in the comments and I'll help u >:3 Ready kandi kiddo?? LETS DO THIS!!
Step 1
GATHER THESE MATERIALS: ☆A pair of scissors ☆ Three colors of your choosing ☆ Elastic stretch cord ☆ ribbon ( optional but recommended) ☆ Two jump rings ☆ And finally, your ESSA!
Step 2
SIDE STRAP: Fold your string in half and place under jump ring ( shown above)
Step 3
Then, take the ends of your string and pull through the loop ( shown above ) Now you can add your beads! ( see next step )
Step 4
First, take your main color ( mines blue) and add one bead to both strings. Then, take your other main color ( mines pink) and repeat the first step. The pattern you should follow: MAIN -> SECOND MAIN -> MAIN Next, take your accent color ( mines black) and add that under your cluster *shown above * Repeat until you have FOUR clusters and THREE accent beads
Step 5
Once your side strap looks like the image above, tie the ends together but DONT CUT IT! you need these for assembly later! Great job! Now make another one! Once you've made two, you can move on to making the front strap!
Step 6
FRONT STRAP: First, cut and attach string to one if your side straps ( I use ribbon but you can use stretch cord if you desire ;3 ) Next, add your beads onto your string in the same patern you used for the side straps * see step 4 * You should have THREE clusters and TWO accents Once you have the front strap, tie the ends together. Your strap should look like the image above! * REMEMBER! DONT CUT THE ENDS! YOU NEED THESE FOR ASSEMBLY!!* Once you have the front strap completed, you can move on the the back strap!
Step 7
BACK STRAP: first, cut and add your elastic to the jump ring with your front strap on it. Next, add the pattern you used for the rest of the harness * see step 4* You should have NINE clusters and EIGHT accent beads. Finally, tie your strings together. * REMEMBER! DONT CUT THESE! YOU NEED THESE FOR ASSEMBLY!!* Once you have completed the back strap, you may now move onto ✨️ ASSEMBLY✨️
Step 8
CHECKPOINT: AWESOME SAUSE!! YOUR ALMOST DONE WITH THE HARNESS!! go take a minute to stretch and get a snack and / or a drink of WATER. NOT MONSTER. WATER. Once you've done this, we can move on!
Step 9
ASSEMBLY: First, take your side strap WITHOUT the jump ring and tie it to the jump ring with your front strap on it * seen above*
Step 10
Next, take your front strap and tie it to one of your accent beads on your back strap * seen above*
Step 11
Finally, tie the end of your back strap to the ring with your side straps ( NOT THE ONE WITH THE FRONT STRAP) / yes the photo is chaotic. Im sorry :[ \
