KPv5 Update Info & Roadmap

Hey everyone! I’m excited to finally share the preliminary timeline for the **Kandi Pad KPv5 Update**. There is *a lot* to cover, so I’ve broken this down into phases. Please keep in mind that **all items and dates are tentative estimates.** Because I'm balancing this with my personal availability, dates may shift or items may swap places as I work through the code. I’ll be updating this post regularly with progress reports and more accurate timing as we go! --- ## **Phase 1: Foundation & Community (Early March – April)** The first rollouts begin in **early March** with a focus on how the site looks and how we keep it safe. * **1.1 | Site Overhaul** * **Enhanced site design** and behind-the-scenes restructuring to modernize and prep for all the new features. * **Gallery Revamp:** Browse *all* patterns in one place (including both fuse bead and pony bead patterns at the same time). * **Forum topic restructuring** and "spring cleaning". * **1.2 | Moderation & Policy** * **New Roles:** Introduction of Pattern Quality Controllers (PQCs) to replace current "moderators". * **Community Mods:** Certain users will be able to become site moderators. * **Updated Rules:** New age restrictions and content policies (refer to my [previous post](https://kandipad.com/forum/announcements/big-changes-coming-to-kandi-pad-28610403) for details). ## **Phase 2: Personalization (April – May)** Focusing on making your corner of Kandi Pad feel like *yours*. * **2.1 | Customization:** Custom site themes and profile customization (and yes, pronouns are finally being added!). * **2.2 | Social:** Updated notification settings/updates and a fresh batch of profile frames. ## **Phase 3: Editor & Tutorials (May – June)** * **3.1 | Editor** * Major bug fixes and new tools: Rotate, Mirror, Lasso, Marquee, Move, etc. * Updated color lists for fuse beads. * **3.2 | Tutorials:** * Revamp of the Tutorial Hub. * Tutorials in profiles * Bug fixes and optimization ## **Phase 4: Beyond** * **Miscellaneous:** Whatever else I feel like doing or whatever the community needs most! --- **Note:** As always, thank you for your patience.
