**EDIT July 28, 2025:** New ad implementation is underway. There will be a short period without any ads and then the new ones will start trickling in. They may look a little out of place at first while I'm busy configuring them to fit the site. \-------- Over the course of the next few days I will be working with a new ad partner to implement a new ad system on Kandi Pad. This will hopefully help decrease page load times and give me greater control over the content of the ads (because I know some of you have pointed out some current ads that were maybe a little questionable). **You will probably notice some changes during this transition.** Especially at the very beginning before I'm able to fully go through and fine tune things. Please tell me if something looks weird so I can make note of it and fix it. **Q: But why does Kandi Pad even need ads?** **A: Short answer -** Kandi Pad is expensive to run. **A: Long answer -** Ads are a necessary evil, unfortunately. They help keep Kandi Pad free to use. It is an expensive site to run, and ads help cover the cost of everything from server to storage to development. Without ads I would be forced to put more features of the site behind the KP Pro paywall, and nobody wants that. I will provide an update once the transition is complete. ✌️ Derek
