This is how to make a herringbone cuff! Minimum number of layers for this cuff is 4 beads :) This is also a great tutorial you might find helpful as well :) https://kandipad.com/kandi-tutorials/how-to-make-a-herringbone-cuff-7391546

Step 1

After you get your beads, you'll want to make a single that's twice as many beads as you want your completed cuff to be. Mine is 40 beads. Every two beads are in a different row (red beads in row 1, orange beads in row 2)

Step 2

thread the end of your string through the first bead of what will be the second row, so whatever your second color is. My second row is orange.

Step 3

Add two beads that will be in the THIRD row onto the end of your string. (red > orange > YELLOW)

Step 4

Thread the end of your string through the NEXT bead of the second rows color, the one directly next to the one you went through the first time.

Step 5

Pull it tight, and thread the end through the next GROUP of beads of the second color. You are skipping over the first color (red) beads.

Step 6

Repeat steps 2-5 on every group of beads in your red and orange single

Step 7

When tightened, your cuff should begin to get the distinct herringbone look and begin to zig zag when you stretch it.

Step 8

Step 9

repeat steps 2-5 again on the next row with your 4th color (green)

Step 10

You can stop after any number of rows! To actually be a herringbone cuff, you need at least 4 rows. The more rows you have, the more structural! This is what mine looks like after 6 rows :)

And you've completed your herringbone cuff! Thanks for following my tutorial! If you want to make/use patterns for them I would just use the ladder stitch designs as they are pretty similar
