On kandi pad, there’s no way to actually make herringbone patterns so instead you have to use ladder stitch patterns. But making herringbone cuffs isn’t always very straightforward so this is a tutorial on how to make herringbone cuffs using a ladder stitch pattern :) *You will need to know how to make a herringbone cuff for this because I only sort of teach you how to on here but for a herringbone tutorial go here! :3 https://kandipad.com/kandi-tutorials/herringbone-cuff-2500458

Step 1

Starting at the green dot, following the blue line and ending at the red dot, string all of the beads along the line onto your string (I am using a multicolored pattern like this so that it is easier than just stripes i guess)

Step 2

It should look like this.

Step 3

Now tie it like a single.

Step 4

Go through the first two beads (see step one to see which beads they are if you need)

Step 5

Add on the next two beads in the pattern These would be the beads right above the second row

Step 6

Then put your string through the next bead, skip two beads, and go through the one after that as well.

Step 7

Repeat the two previous steps until the end of the row, continuing to add on the next two beads in the third layer.

Step 8

Keep making the pattern as you would a standard herringbone cuff. remember at the last bead in each row to go up through the next bead to start the next layer

Step 9

Keep making the layers until you finish!
