hi!!!! i made this a while back and thought a tutorial would be cool!! its super comfortable and actually isnt heavy like most assume. it does use a ton of beads tho so be warned lolzz :P i find this really good as a genderfluid person because it gives the illusion of your chest being flatter without compressing. through the whole thing, MAKE SURE THE STRING IS SUPER LOOSE AND STRETCHY!!!! this is so it can fit over your head and if you are still growing, it doesnt become too tight later on. you should have basic knowledge how to do an x stitch before making this!!!!! this is actually really simple and repetitive for the most part and only takes a few hours if you are motivated enough
Step 1
make a single that is the size of the biggest part of your chest, if the pattern doesnt fit perfectly, make it bigger and not smaller. the connecter bead should be after every 4 beads. leave a super long bit of string not cut off
Step 2
put the string through a connecter bead and add 5 beads before boing through the next connecter bead. make sure it actually looks like a spike. repeat this all around it.
Step 3
go to the top bead of the next spike and add 5 beads again and put it through the top bead of the next spike, repeat all around. REMEMBER TO KEEP IT STRETCHY!!!!!!! these top beads are now your new connecter beads. add more string when needed
Step 4
when you have made it your desired height, go through the connecter bead and add 4 beads instead of 5. this will make it flat rather than being a spike. repeat all around and tie it off, make sure to tie it well
Step 5
take a long peice of string and tie it next to a connecter bead at the very bottom. thread it up through the beads in a straight line and make it as tight as you can. when you reach the top, add beads and make it as long as you want the straps to be. thread it back down on the opposite side but on the same half, making it as tight as you can again. tie it off at the bottom. doing this prevents it from pulling at the top and looking weird. repeat this on the other half.
Step 6
Boom!!! ur done :D have fun with tons of people asking you how you made it and also looking cool!!!
